Seth Barnett, Associate AIA
Architecture
Seth Barnett earned his Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, with a minor in Sociology, from Clemson University in 2015, followed by his Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University in 2018.
While at Clemson, Seth was a member of the American Institute of Architect Student Chapter, along with a Clemson University Design Community Member. Seth was a recipient of the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship and a trustee Scholarship Recipient. Additionally, Seth was able to spend a semester at the Charles Daniel Center in Genoa, Italy.
Prior to his time at Clemson, Seth volunteered in Project NOAH, a New Orleans Hurricane Katrina Ministry relief and rebuild program in 2009 and 2010.
While at NC State, Seth participated in "Imagination Labs" which were small pop up buildings on campus that were created by students in the College of design. The labs were a part of a larger plan to incorporate the Imagination Corridor onto the college's North Campus.
Originally from Anderson, Seth is excited to return to 1x1 Design, where he worked between his degrees. Seth and his wife have two children and currently reside in the Lexington area.
