Kylie Pond, Associate AIA

Intern Architect

Kylie earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University in the spring of 2017 and is in the process of earning her professional Bachelor of Architecture Degree, anticipated 2019. During her time at NCSU, Kylie spent her summers as a design counselor mentoring high school students in the process and production of design prompts as well leading tours to potential students as a design ambassador.


While attending NCSU, she was the Vice President of the American Institute of Architects- Students where she organized firm crawls, created sub-committees, and planned events for the organization of students. Currently she continues her involvement with AIAS through a national membership commitee.


Her previous experience includes working within Chamberlin Architects in Grand Junction, Colorado producing schematic report, concept designs and construction documents.


Originally from Colorado, Kylie is excited to be in Columbia as a part of the 1x1 Design team and experience a “small-ish” city in the midst of dynamic growth.
