1x1 Design Celebrates One Year!

1x1 Design recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its establishment. To commemorate the company’s milestone, 1x1 Design hosted a celebration on June 21, 2012, at City Roots, an urban farm off of Rosewood Drive in Columbia.

“We are so excited to have this chance to celebrate our first year of business with our clients, friends, and families.  1x1 Design has been transformed from a dream into an ever-evolving design firm and we could not be more pleased with the path we have taken this year“, states Asheley Scott, firm President.  “We look forward to continuing to work with a variety of commercial and residential clients, designing creative solutions to a variety of challenges.”

1x1 Design has been involved in a number of projects in the commercial and residential segments over the past year, including the renovation of the new South Carolina Student Loans Headquarters, the renovations and additions for Pasta Fresca, renovations and additions to The Palmetto Club, an interior upfit for MedCare Urgent Care, renovations to McNair Hall at Columbia College, the upfit for Jamie Scott Fitness at the new Cross Hill market, tenant up-fits and space planning for Colliers International, renovation projects for Palmetto Cooperative Services, and the renovations for Riley’s Drugs.  Multiple residential projects are spread from the neighborhoods of downtown Columbia to the Chapin area of Lake Murray.
